Christmas Revelations - Part 3

The second coming of Christ reveals something wonderful about your purpose today.  Dear friend this is so exciting.  You may not have thought of it this way before, but you have a vital role to play in the second coming of Christ.  When Jesus was speaking of the end He said, “And the gospel must FIRST be preached to all nations.” Mark 13:10.  Did you see that?  In other words before Jesus can come back again we have the great privilege and joy of partnering with the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel to the world.  Yes, God’s way is partnership.  Some send while others go.   There is no other plan.  Jesus WON’T come back until the gospel is PREACHED to all nations.  Do you see God’s heart for souls?  Do you see your vital role today is His second coming?  He wants everyone to hear of God’s love through Jesus.  It burdens my heart that there are over 2 billion people in the world who have never even heard of the FIRST COMING of Jesus even one time, never mind the second coming.  It’s so easy to think someone else can do that, but if everyone thought that way the the lost would never be reached.  The apostle Peter said that we can hasten the return of Christ.  “Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God…” (1 Peter 3:11).  Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.  -Andrew
